One of the most moving experiences for Christians is to celebrate Christmas in Bethlehem, the city where Jesus was born. In recent years the city of Bethlehem has been forced to confront political unrest,violence during the second intifada, Islamic extremist groups infiltrating into the city and severe economic problems.
