A Border police officer and a police officer were seriously wounded in a terror shooting that occurred late Friday night near the Lion Gate in Jerusalem’s Old city. According to initial reports an armed terrorist opened fire at the two who succeeded in returning fire before they were hit. The terrorist fled towards the nearby Moslem cemetery.The two officers, one of who suffered a gunshot wound to the head were taken to hospital in Jerusalem.07/12/08
