Shimon Peres, the President of Israel and the winner of the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize, addressed the Petra Conference on Wednesday and upon the conclusion of his speech Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa suddenly stood up and insisted on addressing the audience too. Peres and Moussa then engaged in a heated debate, exchanging accusations which incited the audience and drew standing ovations from the pro-Israel and pro-Arab attendants at the convention. 06/19/08
