Three sea turtles were released into the wild yesterday from the fishing dock at Jisr al-Zarka by Israeli Jewish and Arab school children after being rehabilitated at the turtle rescue center in Mikhmoret. Officials from the Israel Nature Parks Authority said the event was intended to increase awareness among local fishermen and other area residents to the danger that nets pose for sea turtles. 06/11/08
