The Indian government is waiting for a response from Pakistan regarding the extradition of 20 fugitives whom they suspect were involved in the planning, funding and military training of the ten terrorists who perpetrated the Mumbai terror attacks last week in which over 170 people were killed and 300 wounded.12/02/08

An Israel Air Force plane bearing the bodies of the six Israeli victims murdered at the Mumbai Chabad House in last week's terror attacks landed at the Ben-Gurion airport Monday night shortly before midnight. Today the six will reach their final resting place. 12/02/08

Israeli Police put their forces on high alert in Tel Aviv metropolitan area early Tuesday morning, following a warning of a Palestinian plan to carry out a terror attack in the city. The alert is the most serious terror warning to threaten the city in some time. While many sources in Israel note that terrorist organizations in the West Bank have recently threatened to carry out terror attacks against Israel, sources in the Palestinian Authority blamed Hamas, saying the organization is interested in escalating the situation in order to influence Israel’s upcoming general elections. 12/02/08

Israeli officials said on Monday that they are deeply concerned over an internal European Union document outlining the EU's plans for advancing an Israeli-Palestinian deal in 2009, noting that the document calls for increased pressure on Israel to reopen Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem, including the Orient House, which formerly served as the Palestinian Authority's headquarters in the city. 12/01/08

Libya condemned Israel on Monday for preventing a Libyan boat from breaking the blockade against the Gaza Strip, calling the IDF a "terrorist, Zionist army". In a statement released by the official Libyan news agency, the country said that Israel had sent two navy ships, a fighter jet, and a submarine to force the boat to turn around. Israel said unlike previous boats carrying aid to Gaza, Libya is considered a hostile state and there were no guarantees that the boat was not carrying weapons and explosives for Hamas. 12/01/08

Sandra, the nanny who rescued two-year-old Moshe Holtzberg from the Islamic terrorists that stormed the Chabad House in Mumbai, is expected to arrive in Israel on Monday. Meanwhile, an Israeli Air Force jet carrying a forensics delegation and a team from the military rabbinate will be sent to Mumbai on Sunday to handle the repatriation of the Israelis killed in the attacks. 11/30/08

Following the devastating series of terror attacks carried out in the Indian city of Mumbai last week, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert opened Sunday’s cabinet meeting by harshly criticizing extremist Islam and praising the cooperation between the Israeli and the Indian governments during the crisis. While in India public outcry over the handling of the matter has shaken to the very core of the Indian government, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that Israel fully supported India’s response to the attacks. 11/30/08

On Saturday little Moshe Holtzberg spent the weekend with his mother's parents in Mumbai,and celebrated his second birthday. Surrounded by strangers but comforted by his nanny Sandra's presence. He is blissfully unaware of his new found status as an orphan and unaware that he will never again see his mother or father's faces.11/30/08

After three days of bloodshed, chaos and carnage, Indian security officials have begun investigating the sequence of events and the terror attacks that begun last Wednesday night in the city of Mumbai in which ten terorrists targeted in well orchestrated simultaneous attacks American, British and Israeli nationals as well as local people, killing 195 and wounding approximately 300.Indian government officials said they believe ten terrorists participated in the attacks, which they suspect were carried out by Pakistani nationals with Al Qaida links. 11/30/08

The Foreign Ministry said Saturday evening that up to nine bodies were found at the site, including six that were already identified. An Israeli forensic team may head to India in order to assist teams at the scene in identifying more victims. An unspecified number of Israelis in Mumbai remain unaccounted for, an official from the Israeli Consulate in Mumbai said. 11/30/08
