Sgt. Liran Banai, 20 of Ashkelon who served in the Givati Brigade and was critically wounded in last Thurday's roadside
bomb attack against an IDF patrol near central Gaza, succumbed to his wounds on Sunday morning. A Beduin tracker was killed outright in the blast and two other soldiers were lightly wounded. The PRC claimed responsibility.09/03/08
