In order to exert pressure on Hamas in the wake of the incessant Kassam rocket attacks, Defense Minister Ehud Barak ordered the complete closure of the border crossings from Israel to Gaza. On Sunday Gaza's main power plant shut down one of its turbines and Palestinians in the streets expressed anger over the failure of the Hamas leadership there to assist its own people.01/20/08
