On November 29, 1947 the United Nations General Assembly approved the resolution that led to the establishment of a Jewish State. Thirty three countries voted in favour at the time, 13 voted against the resolution and there were 10 abstentions. Today, just days after the Annapolis conference, Israel once again faces a kind of partition.11/29/07
