Major General (Res.) Doron Almog handed his report to IDF Chief of Staff Halutz on Sunday morning, after investigating the kidnap of the two Israeli soldiers by Hezbullah. Immediately after, Brigadier-General Gal Hirsch, handed his letter of resignation.
