Keren Kayemet Le'Israel- the Jewish National Fund, has made a massive impact in recent years, saving tens of thousands of dunams of agricultural produce from drying out by establishing over 200 water reservoirs throughout the country. Infolive. tv visited two such reservoirs in the Lachish region located in the northern Negev, and spoke to farmers.08/19/08

An 18 day car rally during which participants raised funds for Israel was their way of saluting the 60th anniversary celebrations of the State and 40 years to the reunification of the capital. Twenty eight vintage cars some as old as Israel made their way from Britain, via France, Switzerland, Italy and Greece before flying with their cars to Israel where after visiting Sderot and Eilat returned to Jerusalem to wind up the rally. It was the seventh car rally to take place, organized by JNF UK.06/05/08

In honor of Israel's 60th birthday, KKL-JNF offered the citizens of Israel a magnifcient birthday present. The gift is Park Adulam, an beautiful, unihabited area south of Jerusalem, which once served as a large Jewish population center during the ancient Kingdom of Israel. 05/22/08.

KKL-JNF toured the Negev region with foreign journalists to show off the organization's ecological projects.

Two years after the Disengagement, KKL-JNF, with the generous support of its friends worlwide, is helping the Gush Katif evacuees realize their dreams in the western Negev by building greenhouses and preparing the ground for the day they will enter their permanent residences.

The KKL-JNF held a conference on afforestation to combat desertification in the Northern Negev. experts from around the world shared their knowledge and learned from the KKL-JNF's efforts to halt desertification and make the Negev greener, to the benefit of its residents. 05/01/07

A delegation of KKL dignitaries from all over the world arrived in Israel for the KKL Marketing Conference, toured the forests devestated by Katyusha fire during the recent Lebanon War, and witnessed the rehabilitation efforts.   

The Keren Kayemet LeYisrael (JNF) has embarked on an ambitious project of rehabilitating the forests of northern Israel, many of which burnt down after suffering Katyusha rocket attacks during the Second Lebanon War.  The KKL is aided by donors and young volunteers worldwide.

KKL chose to celebrate Tu Bishvat, the Jewish festival of trees, in the city of Sderot, which is still suffering from constant Qassam rocket attacks. KKL is promoting development projects in the city and the surrounding areas, to make the Negev green, so it can be enjoyed by all.

Almost one million trees were destroyed in fires caused by Katyusha rockets fired by Hezbullah this summer. In this special report, Infolive.tv's Adam Ross toured the worst affected parts of the north with the forest rangers of Keren Keyemet .

A family of French Holocaust survivors, along with the younger generation, plant saplings in the Galilee, in what will grow to become a forest in memory of family members who perished at the hands of the Nazis.
