The families of the three abducted Israeli soldiers, Gilad Shalit, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, met with French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Monday. For the first time, the families were accompanied by Tomer Weinberg, a reserve soldier and comrade of Regev and Goldwasser who was injured during the kidnapping, one year ago. Sarkozy pledged to do his utmost to secure the release of the abductees. 07/10/07
