As celebrations marking Jerusalem's 40th anniversary get underway, the majority of Jerusalemites will be at work or school. Marking the capital's unification, Jerusalem in many ways seems more divided then ever and has been dubbed the dubious title of the poorest city in Israel. At the same time, one cannot ignore the city's spirit, the ancient walls of the Old City and the Western Wall which remains the spiritual pulling point for Jews world wide. The pink hues of the Jerusalem stone that cover many of the buildings, the coffee houses that line the capital's Ben Yehuda street and the historical neighborhoods that remind us that despite all its faults, Jerusalem remains the heart of the Jewish people.16/05/07.

you should find a more appropriate background music. there are many Israeli songs that can be wonderful for this purpose instead of this mombo-jombo african noise.

Amen! Everything should be more Israeli, imagery and music! After all we are talking about the capitale of Israel, right? Hard to guess this is the case watching this clip with its musical background...
