So far it has pretty much worked; Israel continues to be seen as the bad guy, as Hamas conducts indiscriminate warfare on Israel’s civilians, Israel is seen as conducting genocidal warfare in any defensive – protective operations. It seems that Hamas may get 10 million dollars under the table for the release of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad, and only Heaven knows what else ..This type of asymmetrical warcraft is quite toxic for Israel’s government, as seen as Hamas is desperately trying to kidnap more IDF soldiers to replace Gilad’s place., when they eventually have to release him. So more missiles and mortars for Israeli communities, Hamas working on kidnapping more IDF soldiers which has become a political gold mine for them, Gaza will become more of a Hezbollah Lebanon type strong hold, a missile base for Iran.
