Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu (Likud) met Monday with Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, Shas' spiritual leader.
Netanyahu reportedly explained how important it was that Shas refrain from joining a Livni-led government.
Shas had no official response to Netanyahu's claims.
