Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz spoke before Kadima members about his decision to return to politics after having announced he would take a break. "I did the humane thing, in order to allow myself and my family a recess after dozens of years of serving the public," he said.
"For 42 years I've served Israel as a military man, chief of staff, and a politician. My place is in public service, it's where I've always been happiest and where I will stay."
