Professor Menachem Magidor, chairman of the Committee of University Heads, said Monday that the new academic year would not be opened if the higher education system does receive additional resources, as ruled by the Shochat Committee.
"I call on the Israeli government to come to its senses and prevent the suffering and damage caused to the students if the academic school year is not opened," Magidor said following an urgent meeting held by the committee.
