President Shimon Peres offered his well-wishes to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Jordan's King Abdullah on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Peres discussed the current state of security and the current financial crisis with both leaders.
Mubarak and Abdullah thanked Peres and wished him and the people of Israel a happy new year.
