Former Beatle and famous singer and songwriter Sir Paul McCartney landed in Israel Tuesday night ahead of Thursday's concert at Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park. McCartney, who arrived on board a private jet with his band and accompanying staff, is staying at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv.  Mid day Wednesday McCartney ventured outside his room, met with a few reporters and photographers before leaving for rehearsals, as he went to the waiting car outside, hotel guests and Israelis clapped.09/24/08
