"We are monitoring the situation, alert and prepared to handle any attempt to disrupt the delicate balance, and watching the events unfold in Lebanon," Defense Minister Ehud Barak said on Thursday evening at a Labor rally in Kiryat Shmona for the party's municipal candidate.
"Israel was, is and will continue to be the strongest country in the region," the Labor chairman concluded.
