An 11-year-old Palestinian died on Monday, and 17 others were wounded, when a porch collapsed in Yamun, near Jenin, during a ceremony celebrating the return of released Palestinian prisoners.
Palestinians reported that many residents of the town gathered on the porch of an old house, in preparation to greet three prisoners who had been locals. The porch collapsed under the weight, hurting celebrants underneath.
