Attorney General Menachem Mazuz said in response to a petition demanding Prime Minister Ehud Olmert be suspended that the issue was still a political question and not a legal matter.
As for the investigation against the prime minister, Mazuz admitted that the police had encountered considerable resistance from Olmert in regards to the dates allotted to them for questioning.
