Britain recently became the first European country to place Hizbullah’s military wing on its list of terrorist organizations. Until now the European Union has refused to place the organization on its black list.By declaring Hizbullah a terror organization the move outlaws raising funds, encouraging support or belonging to Hizbullah’ s military wing.Brown  also told members of the  British parliament that one of the reasons it was necessary to make the decision on Hizbullah now rather then later was due to evidence of its involvement in terrorist activities in Iraq and its plans to kidnap British security workers employed there.07/18/08
