Two sections of the "Great Isaiah Scroll", the most complete Dead Sea scroll ever found, went on public display on Tuesday at the Israel Musuem in Jerusalem. The Isaiah scroll is one of the original seven Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in 1947 in a cave near Qumran, northwest of the Dead Sea. Of the 220 biblicial scrolls found, The "Great Isaiah Scroll" is one of the best preserved and the only scroll which contains an entire biblical book. The special exhibit will be open to the public from May 19th through August 30th. 15/05/08
