At a trilateral meeting between the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on Sunday, Israel announced an array of gestures to the Palestinians that included the establishment of a city or several neighborhoods near the West Bank city of Ramallah, to be financed by a Jordanian businessman, and the establishment of Palestinian police stations in the 'B areas' which are under Palestinian control.   The gesture also includes the transfer of an additional 25 armored vehicles to the Palestinians.   Barak announced that 700 Palestinian police officers would be allowed to enter Jenin, and that a checkpoint and 50 dirt roadblocks in the West Bank would be removed. 3/30/2008
