A bodyguard for Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter was hit by shrapnel when a Kassam rocket landed near Sapir College. He had been scouting out the area for an appearance by Dichter later in the day. His wounds are not life-threatening, but he continues to be treated at Barzilai Hosiptal in Ashkelon. Thursday's rocket attack on Sapir College marks one of more than thirty Kassam rockets launched by Hamas into Israel. A retaliatory strike on a Kassam launching pad in Gaza killed the son of senior Hamas operative Khalil al-Hiya. 2/28/2008
