Father of Four Killed In The Sapir College Rocket Attack

On Wednesday evening the Israeli killed in the Kassam rocket attack at the Sapir College in the western Negev was identified as Ronnie Yechiya, 47, father of four. Yechiya was in his car when the rocket struck the college campus and suffered fatal chest injuries. The Kassam rocket was one of scores that rocked the western Negev in the afternoon. Within the space of five hours 50 rockets were fired from Gaza at southern Israel. A rocket directly hit a home in Sderot, while another exploded in a factory mess hall shortly after the workers had exited. Hamas claimed responsibility.02/27/08
