Piaggio says it will sell an electric car with a 250 km range that can reach 55 kph. The battery for the vehicle charges from a typical home outlet in two hours. The vehicle will be the first car to take advantage of Israel's 'green tax break', which reduces the normal tax on cars from 84% for gas powered vehicles to 10% for cars deemed environmentally friendly. The car can be bought for roughly 120,000 NIS.
