President George W. Bush received a warm reception at Ben Gurion Airport where he was greeted by President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Olmert and government ministers and Knesset members as well as religious dignitaries in an official red carpet ceremony. Delivering a short speech before being transported by helicopter to Jerusalem, the US President said he was looking forward to discussing peace and security,and will oppose those who kill in the name of politics. Olmert told Bush that his solidarity with Israel has won him great admiration. Peres said the next twelve months will be the moment of truth.01/09/08

Bush lands in Israel

There is no greater symbolism to the world than to see the President's plane landing in Israel. The next thing to do is for President Bush to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem as as enacted by the U.S. Congress in "The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995." Patrick Warner
