President George W. Bush received a warm reception at Ben Gurion Airport where he was greeted by President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Olmert and government ministers and Knesset members as well as religious dignitaries in an official red carpet ceremony. Delivering a short speech before being transported by helicopter to Jerusalem, the US President said he was looking forward to discussing peace and security,and will oppose those who kill in the name of politics.
