Hizbullah has rearmed itself  with Iranian made missiles that have a 250 kilometer distance range and are capable of striking central Israel,  and has also tripled its arsenal of land to sea missiles according to a UN report published by UN Secretary General Ban ki- Moon. Israel handed over information to the UN which was included in the report, that deals with the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701, which led to the end of the Second Lebanon War.The UN Secretary General described the findings as grave but noted that while Israel had provided information on Hizbullah’s increasing activities south of the Litani it refused to provide  more in depth intelligence on the issue because of its sensitive nature. According to the report, Israel and Lebanon have begun marking a 6 kilometer section of the “Blue Line”’ located between Kibbutz Hanita and Alma ash-Shab, considered the international border between Lebanon and Israel that was decided on following Israel’s withdrawal from southern Lebanon in May 2000.  Ban said that no progress has been made regarding the disputed  town of Ghajar and that talks on security arrangements in the town had come to a standstill.10/31/07
