The suspected Syrian nuclear reactor attacked by Israel in September has disappeared without a trace. New satellite images published by The New York Times before and after the air strike , shows that the site has been completely cleared. International experts have expressed concern over the fact that Syria was in such a rush to “clear up the evidence,.” Declaring it almost proved that Syria has something to hide.
Syria has denied the claims and described the reports "' fabrication''.
David Albright, President of the Institute for Science and International Security called the latest development troubling, and proved that Syria was trying to hide something. Earlier this week Albright and institute researcher Paul Branan published satellite images that showed that the construction on the site before Israle’s air strike appeared to be the construction of a small north Korean nuclear reactor. Next to it was a smaller building believed to be a pumping station that would be required to cool the reactor. 10/26/07
