Bush Administration officials believe Israel carried out reconnaissance flights over Syria recently to take pictures of possible nuclear instillations that may have been supplied with materials or components from north Korea, The New York Times reported on Tuesday. According to the report, administration officials suspect that north Korea may be supplying Syria with nuclear material. The paper also claimed that Israeli officials confirmed last week’s flyover in Syria’s air space and that the air strike was launched for the first time inside Syria, since 2003. The newspaper reported that officials in Washington believe that the most likely targets of the raid were weapons caches that Israel suspects were sent from Iran to Hizbullah via Syria,.
