4 Workout Tips That Can Help You Get Ripped

Are you looking for weight loss tips that can help you get ripped? If so, below are a few workout tips you can start implementing today.

1. Do More Compound Exercises
When you do an exercise that involves more than one muscle group, then you are doing a compound exercise. Some of these exercises include the bench press, barbell rows, barbell shoulder presses, chin-ups and barbell squats. However, compound exercises target one muscle group, but other muscles will be worked. For example, if you do barbell rows, you will be training mainly your middle back, but your biceps will also be involved during the movement.

Isolation exercises are great and they can help you get ripped too, but if you want to get more out of your workouts, then try to do more compound exercises than isolation exercises. Do this for a few weeks and then you can change your workout routine.

2. Do High Reps With Light Weight
The truth is you can get ripped by training with heavy weight, moderate weight, high reps, low and medium reps. However, if you want to get ripped quickly, then stick with strictly light weight and high reps. Try to do between 20 to 25 reps per exercise. If you cannot do that many reps, then go even lighter. Make sure you have complete control over the weight and don’t complete reps too quickly. Maintain a moderate pace as you do your exercises.

3. Do Push-Ups In Between Sets
If you’re like most people, you do a set of an exercise and take a break and then do another set and so forth. However, if you want to get ripped fast, then start doing push-ups in between sets. Aim to do 5-10 push-ups in between sets. This may not seem like a lot, but it is because by the end of your entire workout, you would have done quite a few push-ups. For example, if you are training chest and you are going to do a total of 16 sets for your chest, and you do 5-10 push-ups in between those 16 sets, then you would have done 80-160 push-ups in total, by the end of your chest workout.

Also, if you want to mix things up, do different variations of the push-up. For example, throughout your chest workout you can do traditional push-ups and throughout your back workout you can do decline push-ups. Push-ups are one of the best upper-body exercises you can do, and if you do them in between sets of your weight workouts, you will be on your way to getting ripped.

4. Do Mini Cardio Workouts Throughout The Day
A lot of people don’t like to do cardio, even though they know it’s one of the best ways to lose weight and get ripped. If you’re not a fan of cardio, but you want to get as ripped as possible, then do mini cardio workouts throughout the day. For example, when you get up in the morning, do as many jump jacks as you possibly can. Around noon time or when you have a lunch break at work, you can dance in place for about 15-20 minutes, and in the evening time you can go for a quick jog or run or even a long walk. It’s up to you which cardio exercises you do, but try to do at least three small cardio workouts throughout the day.

You can experience a lot of weight loss by doing mini cardio workouts, doing push-ups in between sets, doing high reps with light weight and by doing more compound sets. Do those things and you’ll have a ripped body in no time.
