El sargento mayor Eldad Reguev ha sido sepulado por su familia el jueves luego del mediodía en el cementerio militar de Haifa. Al igual que lo ocurrido más temprano con el sepelio de Ehud Goldvaser, una gran multitud, amigos y autoridades nacionales llegaron para acompañar a la familia en este difícil momento. Reguev estuvo en poder de Hizbolá durante dos años, junto con Goldvaser. El secuestro de los soldados fue lo que ocasionó la Segunda Guerra de Líbano.
