El Ministro de Defensa de Israel Ehud Barak ordenó el jueves nuevamente el cierre de todos los cruces fronterizos entre la Franja de Gaza e Israel, como respuesta a los ataques con cohetes kasam lanzados por palestinos desde Gaza durante el día. Los cruces permanecerán cerrados durante el viernes, informaron funcionarios. Semanas atrás, Israel y Hamás firmaron un acuerdo de alto el fuego en Gaza, con la mediación de Egipto, pero de forma repetida las organizaciones armadas palestinas lo han violado.
