Prime Minister Ehud Olmert stated Sunday that Hamas is responsible for all Kassam rocket and mortar shell fire which emanates from the Gaza Strip.
"Either there will quiet, or Israel will act with force to impose quiet," Olmert warned at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting.
"Let it be clear - we view Hamas as completely responsible for everything that happens in the Gaza Strip," he said. "We do not plan to come to terms with the [current situation]."
