The DEBKAfile’s military sources report that three weeks before the recent Hizbullah takeover of western Beirut, the Shiite terrorist group recieved 35 speedboats from Iran.
The speedboats have the capability to threaten international shipping in the region and could also be used to approach US and Israeli Navy ships near the Lebanese coast.
The DEBKAfile reports that the speedboats were made for Hizbullah by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards shipyards at Bandar Abbas.
