El periódico libanés Sapir reporta que se habrían producido avances importantes en las negociaciones entre Israel y Hizbolá por la liberación de los soldados secuestrados Ehud Goldvaser y Eldad Reguev. Según el periódico, el avance significativo, que podría traer resultados concretos, se produjo como resultado del ejercicio masivo que Israel decidió realizar de defensa civil y los mensajes de calma que envió a Siria y a Hizbolá.
